1. Purpose
MCP supports legitimate marine claims, surveys, inspections and related collaboration. This AUP sets rules that protect claimants, insurers, surveyors, STA and the integrity of the platform.
2. Permitted use
You may use MCP only:

3. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not upload, share, or use MCP to:
- Break any law or regulation (including privacy, export, sanctions, IP, or fraud laws);
- Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any person;
- Store or distribute malware, ransomware, or harmful code;
- Attempt unauthorised access to MCP, other tenants, or related systems (including probing, scanning, or credential stuffing);
- Bypass or defeat security, authentication, billing or usage controls;
- Reverse engineer or copy MCP to build a competing product, except to the extent that prohibition is not allowed by law;
- Mine cryptocurrency, send spam, or run open relays;
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent affiliation;

- Share login credentials between multiple people for a single paid seat (unless the product expressly allows seat reassignment);
- Use Portal access to view or exfiltrate data beyond what was shared with you;
- Interfere with other customers’ use of MCP.
4. Sensitive information
Only include sensitive personal information (for example health information, or government identifiers) when it is necessary for a legitimate claim or survey purpose and lawful. Apply need-to-know sharing inside MCP.
5. Portal Users
If you are an insurer, claimant or other invitee:
- use access only for the shared claim or purpose;
- keep credentials and magic links confidential;
- do not attempt to access other organisations’ data.
Customers who invite Portal Users remain responsible for those invitations and for timely revocation.
6. Monitoring and enforcement
STA may monitor MCP for security, abuse, and plan compliance at a platform level (not to read Customer Content without a support, security or legal need). STA may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access for AUP breaches, and may report unlawful activity to authorities.
7. Reporting
Report suspected abuse or security issues to support@sta-au.com promptly.
8. Changes
STA may update this AUP by posting a new version. Material changes will be handled as described in the Terms of Service.
